About Huawei Finland R&D

With 28 sites across Europe and over 2000 researchers, Huawei’s European Research Institute (ERI) oversees fundamental and applied technology research, academic research cooperation projects, and strategic technical planning across our network of European R&D facilities. We are looking for an experienced Senior RF Filter Engineer to join our Terminal antenna and RF lab, our aim is to be world-leading Antenna and RF teams. Our team is responsible for improving the communications competitiveness of Huawei Device products through technological innovation of antenna and RF.

Main responsibilities

• Design Filter according to specification requirement, achieve excellent performance through novel Filter topology research and co-design with acoustic physic expert.
• Responsible for filter technical cooperation project management, ensure project progress and output.
• Support to solve problems in the filter productization process to ensure mass production.
• Filter technology insight, real-time understanding of the industry's new technologies, new directions and new products.
• Filter design patent layout.

Requirements

• M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics etc. Ph.D. is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in SAW filter design and development or in production processes.
• Experience in filter performance optimization methods, having unique insights in high Q-value, low TCF, and high power handling features.
• Knowledge of electronic circuit theory and design; linear and non-linear circuit simulations (ADS etc.), optimization, measurements; electromagnetic evaluation (CST).
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good at team work, international team coordination and cooperation ability, available for business travel on request.
