We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Material Technology cooperation and planning Manager to join our team.This role will involve project management, strategic networking, and collaboration with academic institutions to enhance our material technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the exploration of decorative and structural material technologies in Europe.
• Act as a project manager for material scouting initiatives and coordinate the collection and evaluation of material samples, establishing a strong network within the European luxury materials industry.
• Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and collaborative projects focused on identified material technology directions.
• Monitor academic advancements and research trends in material technology across Europe, fostering long-term cooperative relationships with universities.
• Collaborate closely with the headquarters R&D team, providing regular updates to shareholders on the progress of technical scouting, material studies, PoC projects, and collaborations.
• Explore opportunities to expand scouting efforts to include additional technology domains.

Requirements

• Educational background in material science, mechanical engineering, or related technical fields; a Master’s or Ph.D. degree is required;
• Proactive and well-organized, with a strong results-oriented mindset; 
• Eager to learn and apply new knowledge in daily work;
• Excellent communication skills and daptability in a multicultural working environment;
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is considered as a advantage.

This full-time consultant position located in Helsinki, Ruoholahti office. The consultant shall be employed by Huawei supplier.
