Job Description:
We are now looking for simulation engineer to join our Helsinki Hardware and System Lab which focus on electromagnetic field solver development.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and maintain electromagnetic field solvers for consumer electronic products (mobile phones, tablets, and PCs), including also 3D rendering and visualization of simulation models.
- Optimize 3D rendering based on product planning and customer requirements, including graphics algorithm design and implementation.
- Analyze and learn the international mainstream rendering engines, research cutting-edge graphics technologies, and apply them in work for products.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Major in software engineering, computer science and technology, computer graphics, electrical, mathematics, etc., with background in numerical algorithm, computational graphics, applied mathematics or electromagnetic field.
- Master the following professional knowledge, including but not limited to: computer graphics, numerical analysis, computational geometry, B-spline curves and surfaces, linear algebra, etc.
- Be familiar with open-source rendering engines such as OpenGL, VTK, or Three Js is preferred. Project working experience is preferred.
- Be proficient and keen on programming such as TS/JS, solid in programming knowledge and experience, and have good programming habits.
- Be able to work independently and solve problems, good at communication with strong team working spirits, keen on new technologies and capable of summarizing, sharing, and practicing.
Location
This is a full-time consultant position which will be employed by Huawei supplier located in Helsinki/Tampere, Finland.
