We are looking for a Technology Insight and Cooperation Manager to join our Technology Planning and Cooperation team. In this position, you'll work alongside our research center president, line managers and European level cooperation managers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Take charge of relationship development and retention with renowned universities, research institutes, academic groups and enterprises in Baltic region. Establish and implement in-depth interaction mechanisms to ensure sustainable collaboration. 
• Build and maintain the resource map of Baltic region, identify key advantages, and promote successful cooperation. Focus particularly on start-ups and local technology companies to foster collaboration.
• Collaborate with other country cooperation managers to create resource maps and identify advantages across various business domains.
• Identify cooperation opportunities and work with teams to develop proposals for research projects. Generate technology insights and propose strategic directions for growth. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ICT technologies' status and trends from leading universities, research institutes, companies and start-ups. 
• Engage proactively with potential cooperation partners to contribute to our technology strategy and long-term goals. Address partner pain points, concerns, and objectives.

Requirements

• Master degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering or a related field. 
• Over 10 years of work experience, preferably in technology management and strategy development. 
• Strong knowledge of research resources, start-ups, technical companies in Baltic region, with a strong, well-connected network and a good reputation within the industry. 
• Extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of cutting-edge ICT technologies. 
• Previous experience in project management, research cooperation, technology transfer, IPR, and business negotiations (industry or academia) is considered a plus. 
• Broad vision and strong business understanding with the ability to quickly learn and adapt. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels within the company and externally, including professors, scientific researchers and enterprises. 
• Ability to represent the company professionally in various contexts. 
• Independent, well-organized, and structured work style with a hands-on, can-do attitude and strong critical thinking skills. 
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• Fluency in both Finnish and English. 
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills and an understanding of local culture. 
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region and occasionally outside of the EU, if required.
